What to expect when the ordination of both men and women is introduced?

We have been blessed with the opportunity to learn from our fellow Christians who have lived through such times and have observed and studied directions of those Lutheran Churches around the world that have embraced such practice.

What: “Confessing Christ” Conference.

When: 25^th of November, from 9:30am – 5:00pm.

Where: St Mark’s Lutheran Church, 302 Henley Beach Road, Underdale, Adelaide.

Come and hear from:

• Rev Dr Juhana Pohjola the Bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Mission in Finland. He will speak on topics: “Faith speech on trial” and “One Church body and two teachings on the ministry – experiences from Finland”.
• Rev Dr John Stephenson the former principal of Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary in Canada. He will speak on topics: “Church fellowship and false teaching”, and “Learning from the experience of other Lutheran churches that ordain women”.
